Alteria, Stefania Bianchi, is one of the most respected and recognisable voices on the Italian rock scene. After making her debut with NoMoreSpeech, the band with which she released their self-titled album in 2012, she began a solo career and went on to release two successful albums: Encore in 2013, entirely in English, and La Vertigine Prima di Saltare in 2017, her first album in Italian.
The latter was produced by Max Zanotti and marked the beginning of an artistic collaboration that continues to this day, producing powerful singles such as Peccato and Sacro e Profano.
Alongside her music career, Alteria has also established herself as a radio host and television presenter, working with Rock TV, Rai 4, Rai 5, Radio Freccia and, currently, Virgin Radio.
Over the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to open concerts for legendary bands including Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Litfiba and many others.
In 2017, she released her own reinterpretation of David Bowie’s Space Oddity, in collaboration with Osvaldo Di Dio. Her third album, Vita Imperfetta, followed in 2021 and included the singles Apnea, Benvenuto Bene, Guerra and Zero Necessità.
In addition to her solo project, Alteria was the frontwoman of the Deep Purple tribute band Strange Kind of Women, performing with them on stages across Europe.
In 2023, she returned with the single Cuore Gelido, while at the end of 2024 she took part in The Fottutissimi’s cover of Tears for Fears’ Shout.
In 2025, she prepared to launch her fourth album, preceded by the singles Voglio Andare Oltre, Camomilla col gin, Pixies, Wonderful and Personalissima rivolta.
