A charismatic pianist with a “luminous sound and poetic interpretations that can move listeners to tears” (The New York Times), Anna Kravtchenko brings her unmistakable style and extraordinary expressive power, rooted in her deeply spiritual nature, to every performance, making each concert a compelling and illuminating experience.
Anna Kravtchenko established herself on the international music scene after winning the Concertino Praga International Competition and, in the same year, at the age of sixteen and by unanimous decision, the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano.
She has performed for some of Europe’s leading musical institutions, including the Berliner Philharmonie, the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam as part of the Meesterpianisten series, the Tonhalle in Zurich, Sala Verdi in Milan for Serate Musicali, the Herkulessaal in Munich, the Ruhr Piano Festival, Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Festival de La Roque d’Anthéron, Wigmore Hall in London, Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Piano aux Jacobins Festival in Toulouse, the Bergen Festival and the Brescia and Bergamo International Piano Festival, among many others. She has also performed in Japan, South Africa, the United States and Canada.

She has collaborated with numerous conductors, including Gerd Albrecht, Daniele Gatti, Jaap van Zweden, Antoni Wit, Walter Weller, Günter Pichler, Jan Paul Tortelier, Alexander Shelley, Ralf Gothóni, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Pavel Kogan, Martyn Brabbins, Vassili Sinaisky, Joseph Swensen, George Pehlivanian, Nikolai Alexeev, Heinz Wallberg, Mika Eichenholz, Petr Vronský, G. Rath, Stefan Soltesz and Cristian Mandeal.
Also active in chamber music, she has worked with Enrico Dindo, Pavel Berman, Sergey Krylov, Georg Hörtnagel, Stefan Milenkovich and Ole Edvard Antonsen.
In 2006, she recorded an album for DECCA entirely dedicated to Chopin. In the same year, Anna Kravtchenko won the International Web Concert Hall Competition in the United States. Her DECCA recording dedicated to Liszt received five-star reviews and was named “CD of the Month” by leading Italian music magazines, including Amadeus, Classic Voice, Suonare News and Musica.
After teaching for fifteen years at the International Piano Academy in Imola, Anna Kravtchenko joined the faculty of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano in 2013, where she teaches piano.
She studied at the Imola Academy, where she was admitted ad honorem.
