For two unforgettable weeks, the historic Teatro Niccolini in Florence becomes the home of the Superstars of Broadway and Jazz Festival, running April 15–29, 2027. Hosted by acclaimed jazz pianist, vocalist, arranger, and composer Billy Stritch and celebrated entertainer and New York impresario Jim Caruso, the festival will bring together some of the most dazzling talents from Broadway, jazz, cabaret, and the American stage.
Billy Stritch is internationally renowned for his work with legends including Liza Minnelli and Tony Bennett, and is recognized as one of America’s foremost interpreters of the Great American Songbook. A Grammy-winning songwriter, virtuoso pianist, and musical director, he has performed in the world’s leading concert halls, jazz clubs, and theaters.
Jim Caruso is the award-winning host and creator of New York’s legendary Cast Party, the long-running entertainment phenomenon that has become a gathering place for Broadway stars, jazz artists, and rising talents at Birdland Jazz Club. A celebrated singer, producer, and host, Caruso has appeared at Carnegie Hall, the White House, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and major venues across the United States and abroad.
Together, Stritch and Caruso have created some of the most acclaimed live entertainment events in New York and beyond, combining Broadway glamour, world-class musicianship, spontaneity, and unforgettable showmanship. During this extraordinary festival, Florence audiences will experience a spectacular series of concerts and special events featuring some of the most celebrated performers from Broadway and the world of jazz.
